Why an Electric Longboard and not a Skateboard?

Why do I only see Electric Longboards and I don't see any Electric Skateboards?

electric skateboard What is a Skateboard? We'll there's a perfectly good explanation for that. The thing is your typical skateboard is usually only about 28" to 32" long and they use 52mm wheels to 70mm at the most. At times, 75mm wheels. Skateboards are naturally low to the ground and relatively lightweight compared to a longboard. Skateboards are meant to me small and agile as the main idea for skateboarding is to master different tricks. What is a Longboard?

A longboard can be anywhere from 29" to 42" on the long end. However, they also have dance longboards which are about 60-70" if not longer. Longboards also use bigger wheels usually the sizes start at about 65mm to 70/75mm wheels. They do have bigger wheels that are 83mm, 85mm, 90mm, 97mm and even 107mm longboard wheels. These wheels are much bigger and can mean wonders for riding and cruising. They absorb a lot of vibrations and run over objects on the road.
