10A Charging Port Fuse with Holder for Electric Skateboard Battery Packs
Protect your battery charging circuit with a replaceable 10A fuse and holder designed for TorqueBoards battery packs, DIY battery builds, electric skateboards, and other compatible electric-vehicle projects.
This fuse assembly provides a serviceable protection point between the charging port and battery charging circuit. If excessive current or a charging-side fault occurs, the fuse is designed to open before additional damage occurs to compatible wiring or components.
Key Features
- 10A charging-circuit fuse
- Includes fuse and reusable fuse holder
- Replaceable and easy to service
- Helps protect charging-port wiring from excessive current
- Suitable for TorqueBoards battery packs and compatible DIY battery projects
- Useful for electric skateboards and other modular EV builds
Compatibility
This product may be used with:
- Compatible TorqueBoards battery packs
- DIY electric skateboard battery packs
- Modular electric-vehicle battery builds
- Charging circuits designed to use a 10A fuse
Always confirm that your battery design, charger, wiring, fuse format, and voltage requirements are compatible before installation.
Do not replace a lower-rated fuse with a 10A fuse simply because it physically fits.
What’s Included
- One 10A fuse
- One compatible fuse holder
Why Use a Charging-Port Fuse?
A charging-port fuse creates a replaceable protection point within the charging circuit. It may help reduce damage caused by excessive charging current, damaged wiring, an incorrect connection, or a short circuit on the charging side of the battery.
A blown fuse may indicate an underlying problem. Inspect the charger, charging port, wiring, connectors, and battery before installing a replacement fuse.
Installation and Safety
Disconnect the charger and isolate the battery before installation or replacement.
Replace the fuse only with the correct amperage, physical format, and voltage rating required by your battery system.
Never bypass the fuse or install a higher-amperage fuse as a workaround.
Lithium-ion batteries can cause fire, serious injury, or property damage if incorrectly wired, short-circuited, damaged, or serviced improperly. Installation should only be performed by someone experienced with battery systems and electrical safety.
Stop using the battery if you notice excessive heat, swelling, unusual odor, damaged wiring, abnormal voltage, or repeated fuse failures.
