25mm Adhesive Fish Paper - 0.20mm Thick, 3 ft

Adhesive-backed fish paper designed for insulating and protecting the top and bottom ends of 21700 lithium-ion cells, battery modules, and other critical areas inside a battery pack.

The 25mm width is well suited for creating protective strips and end-cap insulation around 21700 cell groups. It can be cut to the required shape and applied over clean surfaces to help isolate conductive areas, protect cell wrappers, and reduce abrasion inside the battery pack.

Each quantity includes one continuous 3-foot strip measuring 25mm wide and 0.20mm thick.

Installation

Measure and test-fit the fish paper before removing the adhesive liner.

For best results:

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery or cell group.
2. Clean the application area.
3. Remove dust, oil, adhesive residue, and loose debris.
4. Allow the surface to dry completely.
5. Cut the fish paper to the required length or shape.
6. Remove the adhesive backing.
7. Apply the material without wrinkles or trapped debris.
8. Press firmly across the entire surface.

Make sure the fish paper does not interfere with required electrical connections, cell vents, balance wiring, or battery-pack assembly.

Important Safety Information

Fish paper is one component of a complete battery insulation system. It does not replace individual cell terminal rings, intact cell wrappers, proper electrical spacing, structural protection, heat-resistant insulation, short-circuit protection, or complete battery testing.

Never apply fish paper over damaged cells as a substitute for replacing damaged cell insulation or evaluating the cell’s condition.

Lithium-ion battery construction can cause fire, serious injury, or property damage if performed incorrectly. Battery packs should only be assembled or serviced by someone familiar with cell handling, polarity, insulation, wiring, spot welding, short-circuit prevention, and electrical safety.
