Secure your battery pack with a custom-made adhesive hook and loop strap designed for DIY electric skateboard and lithium-ion battery builds.
Each strap measures 175mm x 80mm and includes a strong adhesive backing for mounting to a deck, enclosure, or battery support surface. The wider 80mm strap provides more surface coverage than the 50mm version, helping hold larger or wider battery packs more securely while still allowing removal when needed for inspection, maintenance, or upgrades.
This strap set is ideal for builders who want a cleaner, stronger battery mounting solution than loose tape, zip ties, or generic Velcro strips.
Use these straps to secure lithium-ion battery packs to a deck, enclosure, mounting board, or battery tray. The wider 80mm size is especially useful for larger flat 21700 battery packs where more holding surface is preferred and the pack needs to stay firmly positioned while still remaining removable.
For best results, apply the adhesive side to a clean, dry surface. Press firmly during installation and allow the adhesive to bond before mounting the battery pack. For high-vibration electric skateboard builds, use this strap as part of a complete battery mounting system that may also include foam padding, enclosure support, proper wire strain relief, and regular inspection.
Sold as a 3-pack. Price: $18.99.
For best results, use the adhesive backing to position the strap, then secure it to the deck or mounting surface with a heavy-duty stapler or upholstery stapler. This adds mechanical retention so the battery is not held only by adhesive.
For extra holding strength, add hook and loop material to the back of the battery pack. The inside of the strap uses the loop side, creating a strong Velcro hold between the strap and battery pack.
Do not pull the battery pack out by force. Always pry or peel open the hook and loop connection first. The hold can be very strong, and removing the pack without releasing the Velcro may damage the battery pack or insulation.
