V7 CNC Clamp for 22mm Square Trucks

The TorqueBoards V7 CNC Clamp is a two-piece motor-mount clamp designed for longboard and mountainboard truck hangers with a 22mm × 22mm square profile.

Its split two-piece design wraps around the truck hanger and provides strong, even clamping force to help keep the motor mount securely positioned during acceleration, braking, vibration, and repeated riding.

This clamp is specifically designed for use with the TorqueBoards V7 Motor Mount and compatible 22mm-square truck hangers.

Compatibility

The V7 CNC Clamp is compatible with:

  • TorqueBoards 280mm CNC Trucks
  • Truck hangers with a compatible 22mm × 22mm square profile
  • TorqueBoards V7 Motor Mounts
  • Other similar truck hangers requiring the same clamp dimensions and mounting interface

Compatibility must be confirmed by both the truck-hanger profile and motor-mount interface.

A truck may measure approximately 22mm wide but still use a different corner radius, shape, taper, or mounting design.

Not Compatible With

This clamp is not compatible with:

  • TorqueBoards V6 Motor Mounts
  • TorqueBoards 220mm CNC Trucks
  • Caliber-style truck hangers
  • Round or rectangular hangers that do not measure 22mm × 22mm
  • Motor mounts using a different bolt pattern or clamp interface

For compatible 220mm CNC Trucks or Caliber-style hangers, use the V7 Caliber Clamp instead.

Two-Piece Clamp Design

The V7 CNC Clamp separates into two sections that install around the truck hanger.

Compared with a one-piece or partially open clamp, the two-piece construction allows the clamp to surround the hanger more completely and apply clamping pressure across multiple surfaces.

This helps provide:

  • A more secure motor-mount connection
  • Reduced mount movement
  • Better resistance to rotation around the hanger
  • Easier installation without sliding the clamp over the end of the truck
  • More consistent clamping force when tightened evenly

Motor mount, truck, motors, drivetrain components, pulleys, belts, and wheels are not included.

Quantity Required

One clamp is required for each motor mount.

Examples:

  • Single-motor setup: one clamp
  • Dual-motor setup: two clamps

Installation Notes

Before installation:

  1. Confirm the truck hanger measures 22mm × 22mm.
  2. Confirm the hanger profile and corner shape match the clamp.
  3. Clean the hanger and clamp contact surfaces.
  4. Position both clamp halves evenly around the hanger.
  5. Install the supplied hardware.
  6. Tighten the bolts gradually and evenly.
  7. Align the motor mount before final tightening.
  8. Recheck all hardware after the first few rides.

Do not overtighten one bolt fully before tightening the others. Uneven tightening may prevent the clamp halves from seating correctly.

Thread-locking compound may be appropriate for motor-mount hardware when used according to the fastener and product requirements.

Important Safety Information

Inspect the clamp, bolts, motor mount, and truck hanger regularly.

Do not ride if you notice:

  • Loose mounting hardware
  • Clamp movement
  • Cracks or deformation
  • Damaged threads
  • Uneven clamp gaps
  • Motor-mount rotation
  • Belt or drivetrain misalignment

Incorrect compatibility, installation, or tightening may allow the motor mount to move and could cause drivetrain damage or loss of control.
