Higher voltage improves efficiency, reduces heat generation, and delivers smoother acceleration with greater motor responsiveness, making it ideal for high-performance electric skateboards and compact electric vehicles.

Engineered for Maximum Power

This battery pack is designed to deliver up to 90 amps, providing exceptional power for your electric skateboard or vehicle. The Modular Bypass BMS system ensures uncompromised performance, meeting even the most demanding power requirements.

21700 Molicel P42A Battery Cell Discharge Rating

The 21700 Molicel P42A battery cell is rated for a maximum continuous discharge of 45A per cell in parallel, but the duration it can sustain this current depends on various factors, including:

  • Parallel Configuration: The total discharge capacity increases with more cells in parallel.
  • Voltage Drop: High current draws cause voltage to drop, impacting performance.
  • Heat Management: Effective cooling is required to prevent overheating during high discharge rates.
  • Cutoff Voltage: Discharge ends when the voltage reaches a predefined safe limit.

In real-world scenarios, pulling the full rated amperage continuously is unlikely, as it would quickly drain the battery and generate excessive heat.

Realistic Average Amperage During Riding

  • Light Riding (Flat Terrain, Moderate Speed) - Ideal for cruising on flat surfaces at low to moderate speeds. 10–20A
  • Aggressive Riding (Hills, High Speed, Acceleration) - High-current demands during acceleration, hill climbing, or high-speed rides. 30–60A
  • Peak Amperage (Full Throttle, High Loads) - Short-term loads during full-throttle acceleration or heavy loads. Sustaining this level for extended periods can lead to overheating and rapid battery depletion. 70–100A or more, depending on the battery pack, motor, and ESC specifications.

Modular Battery Cell Modules

Battery cell modules are designed to be replaceable, allowing for easy maintenance or upgrades. If a module becomes faulty or malfunctions, it can be replaced by unsoldering the two power wires and the balance wire, installing a new module, and then re-soldering the connections. While this process is intended for those with prior experience in soldering and electronics, it is manageable with the right tools and skills.

Replacement battery cell modules are available for purchase to ensure seamless repairs and maintenance. Detailed instructions and support are also provided for advanced users.

Why We Don’t Use Battery PCB Boards

We avoid using battery PCB boards because once a module is soldered to the board, removing or replacing it becomes significantly more difficult, often requiring the entire battery pack to be rebuilt. Our approach focuses on maximizing the lifespan and usability of individual components to provide greater flexibility and longevity.
